This week, on the 31st of March and 1st April 2011, the SEA-R kick-off meeting will take place in Cesena – Italy. SEA-R project (Sustainable Energy in the Adriatic Regions: Knowledge to Invest) is leaded by Pesaro Municipality (Italy) and it deals with the promotion of the “green economy” in the Adriatic region and aims at promoting the development of investment-oriented knowledge on sustainable and competitive energy patterns. These main objectives will be achieved by the 7 partners involved (3 from Italy, 1 Albania, 1 from Bosnia Heszegovina, 1 from Croatia and 1 from Slovenia) will be achieved through a complex but coherent set of activities touching different energy field specific of the Adriatic area: SUN ENERGY about the solar energy, especially in public and private buildings SEA ENERGY about the energy coming from seaweeds KNOWLEDGE, to establish Info Energy Points/Initiatives to foster the energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies in the Adriatic area.
