25/10/2010 – ENERGY: MONTENEGRO, 18.8 MLN IN INVESTMENT FOR 5 PLANTS
The Montenegrin Economy Minister and the Kroling firm from Danilovgrad (central Montenegro) have underwritten an accord for the building of 5 mini hydroelectric plants in the Plav and Savnik zones for an overall investment of about 18.8 million euros. The agreement – signed by Economy Minister Branko Vujovic and Kroling’s executive director Zeljko Miskovic – calls for the concessionary use of the Tusina waterway in Savik for 30 years. The contractor will be tasked with building 4 hydroelectric plants and will have to give 5.7% of the overall annual production value to the government. For the Komaraca waterway near Plav, the concession decided on is 25 years.
