11/10/2010 – SLOVENIA, FIRST BIO-FUEL PLANT OPENED
LJUBLJANA – The Slovenia’s first power plant running on biodiesel was opened in the town of Benedikt, in the north of the country. The 950 kilowatt plant has cost 1.3 million euros. It is owned by a local agricultural cooperation, and is expected to consume 1.8 million litres of biological fuel based on seed oil per year.
