05/07/2010 – ENERGY: MONTENEGRO, CALL FOR TENDERS FOR 10 PLANTS
PODGORICA – By September the Montenegro government will be publishing the calls for tender for the construction of ten hydroelectric plants in the northern part of the country, announced the Economy Minister Branko Vujovic,adding that the preparation of the final list ranking the offers has entered the decisive phase, and that a survey is being elaborated for the building of two wind power plants.
The two wind power plants will most likely be built in Mozur (near Ulcinj) and the Krnovo plateau between Niksic and Savnik. Spain’s Fersa has already expressed interest in the 46-MW plan in Mozur, with an expected investment of approximately 65 million euros.
