10/06/2010 – COOPERATION: "IPA ADRIATIC" PROGRAMME ADMISSIBLE PROJECTS WERE FORMALIZED BY JULY THE RANKING LIST ON FINANCED PROJECTS
The admissibility of a first list of 134 projects, submitted by the eight States involved, was formalized by the Joint Monitoring Committee of the IPA Adriatic Cross border Cooperation Programme (2007-2013) during the meeting held in L’Aquila on last 11th and 12th of May.
The same table – the prosecution of that updated during the meeting of the last 25th and 26th of March – defined the procedures for the quality assessment, whose task was entrusted to the Joint Technical Secretariat. According to an estimation, a ranking list on the projects admitted to the financing is likely to be drawn up by the end of July. The representatives of the States Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Greece, and for Italy of the Regions of Abruzzo, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Marche, Puglia and Molise decided to convene again in Croatia in order to finalize the work aiming to approve the first list of projects to be financed.
The first Call for proposals of the IPA Adriatic Programme covers the axes on culture, tourism, infrastructures and environment, and allocates about 75 million Euros.
We remind that the IPA programme has a total financial allocation of about 280 million Euros and aims to harmonize the Adriatic cross-border area in the name of institutional, economic, cultural, tourist, environmental and infrastructural cooperation.
