22/03/2010 – COOPERATION: 'IPA ADRIATIC' PROGRAMME, SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE TO MEET ON MARCH 25 AND 26 IN L'AQUILA

The Supervisory Committee meeting of the European Cross-border Cooperation Programme "CBC IPA Adriatic" (2007-2013) will take place in L’Aquila on March 25 and 26. The important meeting will be held in the building of the Abruzzo Region, in Via Salaria Antica Est nr. 27. The session is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on March 25 in the presence of all representatives of partner countries. "IPA Adriatic" involves eight States: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Greece and for Italy will participate the regions of Abruzzo, as leading region, and Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Marches, Apulia and Molise. The programme has a total endowment of around 280 million euros. Its goal is to harmonise the Adriatic cross-border area in the name of institutional, economic, cultural, infrastructural and environmental cooperation and cooperation in the sector of tourism.
